BWID WAS THE BRONZE AWARD RECIPIENT FOR THIS POWDER ROOM CREATION. CRITERIA FOR JUDGING INCLUDED SUSTAINABILITY AND DESIGN SOLUTION.   WE CREATED A BATHROOM WITHIN AN EXISTING SPACE.   THE CHALLENGE WAS TO CONTINUE TO USE THE HOME OFFICE TO IT'S FULL CAPACITY IN SPITE SACRIFICING SQUARE FOOTAGE.

THE CHALLENGE FOR THIS PROJECT WAS TO NOT ONLY BEAUTIFY THE LAUNDRY AREA BUT RECONFIGURE IT FOR MAXIMAL STORAGE.

THE CHALLENGE WAS TO CONVERT A CROWDED, DARK ROOM INTO A BRIGHT, EFFICIENT SPACE WHICH DEALT WITH A SICK CHILD'S MEDICAL NEEDS.   THE FATHER SUPERVISED THE SON'S CONDITION AT NIGHT SO I CUSTOMIZED A LOFT BED FOR SLEEPING AND PROVIDED ADEQUATE SPACE FOR STORAGE BELOW FOR HIS RECORDS AND MEDICAL APPARATUS.   BY APPLYING BRIGHT COLORS IN AN UNDERWATER THEME, I WAS ABLE TO ENLIVEN A VERY DARK ROOM.   THE LOFT BED PROVIDED ORGANIZATION FOR THE MANY BINDERS AND FREED UP FLOOR SPACE.
